TP Health Partners with the University of Derby
TP Health is thrilled to announce that we will soon be partnering with the University of Derby to supply their students with Occupational Health and Well-being services. The new contract builds upon our 2021 success which saw us partner with the University of Nottingham and furthers our involvement within the Higher Education sector.
The University of Derby (UoD) hosts a diverse community of over 20,000 students and has been ranked a top-20 university for education and nursing/midwifery courses. UoD also has an expansive Health and Social Care programme that requires students to be cleared fit to undertake placement work as part of their degree.
The clearance process will be heavily supported by TP Health, where we will be supplying course-specific health questionnaires and vaccinations where required. With an expected annual intake of 1,500 students, our experience working with other University clients will prove invaluable when covering the service demand across the peak intake months of September, January and March. Additionally, TP Health will support UoD through an OH referral service, Covid risk assessments, student induction talks and health education programmes.
It’s an absolute pleasure for us to be supporting the future Health and Social Care professionals of the UK, and we can’t wait to get started on implementing a quality, sustainable service.
