TP Health Achieves Recertification to ISO27001
After five days of evaluation and auditing, TP Health is pleased to announce that we have been recommended for recertification to ISO27001.
As an Occupational Health and Well-being provider, TP Health regularly handles sensitive data and information about the businesses and people we support. Because of this, many organisations seek reassurance that the Information Governance processes we use regarding the management of data are rigorous and up to date. One way businesses can quickly determine the rigour of another organisation’s Information Governance is by looking for renowned standards such as ISO27001.
ISO27001 is a widely recognised international standard that sets out a specification for an Information Security Management System (ISMS). By achieving this certification, TP Health shows that our ISMS, which encompasses the policies, procedures, technologies and strategies in place to manage information risk effectively, are aligned with modern, international best practice.
Our evaluation for ISO27001 compliance has helped finalise the upcoming plan to undertake improved information security audits across our sites. The plan will see our sites in Alderhey, Liverpool, Worthing, London, Nottingham and Northampton undertaking the enhanced audits in 2022. We look forward to working with these sites and continually improving our processes.
We’d also like to thank our internal Compliance Team, who worked tirelessly to provide documentary evidence and attend interviews in order to achieve recertification so quickly.
