Supporting the future generation of Health Students
Students across the UK have returned to their studies, with many just starting off their journeys into higher education. And, for Health Science students attending both the University of Nottingham and Staffordshire University, TP Health is supporting them on this journey.
Being the sole provider of Occupational Health and Well-being Services to Staffordshire University and UoN, a part of our provision is to decide whether Health Science students are physically and mentally fit to study and practice within live clinical environments. This also means ensuring each student has the appropriate vaccinations before starting placement, as well as delivering full vaccination courses in line with the Department of Health guidelines.
Our wonderful team of nurses have been hard at work covering the peak student intake months of September and October. We have already cleared hundreds of students ready for placement onto their course, and this busy period will be extending far into November.
It’s been great to be a part of the process, facilitating the education of the next generation of brilliant clinicians – and TP Health look forward to doing the same next year!
