Our Journey

Success built on passion, energy and commitment. Our uncompromising commitment to excellence has enabled us to build our reputation and develop a successful, sustainable business.

  • 2006

Our two founding members registered Team Prevent UK with Companies House. Soon after, we were awarded our first contract within the NHS. Bolstering our work within the public sector, a local authority contract soon followed.

  • 2007

Europe’s leading Occupational Health & Safety Provider (B.A.D Gmbh) acquired 100% ownership of Team Prevent UK Ltd. We also moved into our first central office in Towcester and earned accreditation to the Constructing Better Health Scheme.

  • 2008

Awarded several public sector contracts, we invested in our first IT System. Our portal facilitated our transition to digital solutions and electronic records, allowing for more efficient, joined-up services. Central office numbers grew with the introduction of our centralised administration teams.

  • 2009

Team Prevent were awarded six more NHS contracts, with private sector organisations joining our portfolio of clients. With 12 clinic locations around the UK, our fleet of Mobile Screening Units was introduced to further support our delivery model.

  • 2010

Delivering Occupational Health services to over 200,000 employees, Team Prevent moved into a larger office within the same business park. The launch of our remote Early Intervention Centre significantly improved the efficiency of referrals to specialist support for stress & musculoskeletal disorders.

  • 2011

Quickly becoming the prevalent name within the public sector, our client portfolio expanded to include 15 NHS Trusts, 10 Local Authorities and a Fire and Rescue service. With numerous NHS Trusts under our care, we introduced a specialist BBV Line.

  • 2012

Several private sector clients across a range of industries joined Team Prevent. Our growth saw our employee headcount increase to 62 and our clinic count rise to 23. Most importantly, Team Prevent gained SEQOHS accreditation, being one of the first national OH providers to do so.

  • 2013

We expanded our service range with a comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme, including a 24/7 advice line, app, and access to counselling, CBT & EMDR. We also extended our selection of health and well-being tools to include stress-risk assessments, which later turned digital.

  • 2014

Providing services to half a million employees, Team Prevent started to actively be involved in several national frameworks. Awarded multiple major public and private sector contracts, we further expanded our workforce and mobile unit fleet to meet customer demand for UK wide health surveillance.

  • 2015

Ranked as the fastest-growing Occupational Health company in the UK, Team Prevent expanded our clinical footprint to 37 centres. We also gained our Investors In People accreditation, underlining our unrivalled commitment to our own employees.

  • 2016

Selected as the OH provider to one of the world’s largest and most renowned companies, our client base spanned across 26 different industries and professions. Our multi-disciplinary team also grew to include Physiotherapists, as we surpassed one million completed Occupational Health referrals.

  • 2017

Awarded with ISO 9001 accreditation, Team Prevent introduced video consultations to our clients. With the clear objective of transforming workplace wellness, our board agreed on record investment into a new cutting-edge IT system. 2017 also saw us move into purpose-built, new offices.

  • 2018

With over 600,000 employees under our care we continued to innovate, launching our Manager Advice Line & Return to Work services. Our new online system entered the final stages of customer testing and we opened two additional clinics to support recently awarded blue light service contracts, bringing our clinic total to 44.

  • 2019

Our first customers migrated onto our myOH System, and we expanded our multidisciplinary team with Mental Health & Wellness specialists. We were also awarded our ISO27001 accreditation and initiated our environmental work with Planet Mark.

  • 2020

Our Senior Management Board completed a buy-out of the company. Responding to the pandemic, we supported 35 NHS Trusts and key workers by upscaling our video consultations solution and launching bespoke support packages including a Covid Advice Line, swabbing, antibody testing, risk-assessments and rehab & recovery services.

  • 2021

Team Prevent rebranded to TP Health, reflecting our vitality and progressive approach to helping companies and their employees thrive. Now employing over 220 staff, we have successfully migrated all customers onto our new OH system. We were awarded with ISO14001 and were proud to receive a support services work in recognition for our work with the NHS. We also carried out a full-refurbishment of our Central Office at Pury Hill Business Park.
